About Hula Markets

We're a technology company sitting at the intersection of Financial Markets, Mobile Games, and iGaming.

The Philippines has one of the most digitally engaged populations in the region, yet participation in its financial markets remains strikingly low. Online gaming, by contrast, has found mass adoption, reaching millions of Filipinos who engage with it every day. That gap isn't a coincidence, it reflects how each experience is designed. Gaming is immediate, intuitive, and rewarding. Financial markets, by comparison, can feel distant, complex, and reserved for a narrow set of experts. Hula Markets exists to close that gap: to make placing a financial position feel as accessible and understandable as playing a game, without losing the substance of what a real position is.

We also believe the Philippines deserves a better way to know what's true. In a media environment where trust in information is often in short supply, we're building mechanisms rooted in real and public participation by using the collective judgment of everyday Filipinos, expressed transparently, as a source of truth on the topics that matter to them.

At the same time, we're addressing a problem hiding in plain sight: the significant scale of illegal gaming activity across the country. We believe the right answer isn't prohibition, it's a better alternative. By building gaming products that are innovative, intuitive, and legitimate, we aim to give Filipinos a trustworthy place to play, reducing the pull toward unregulated and unsafe options.
